Task Tracking and Meeting Minutes Control in DashLab
A meeting agrees on ten things. A week later three are done, and nobody remembers who owned the rest. Most companies know this story well. Tasks and meeting minutes in DashLab exist so that every decision turns into an assignment with an owner and a deadline, and overdue work shows up without anyone checking by hand.
What task control fixes
Assignments in a company are usually handed out in three places: out loud at the meeting, in Telegram chats, and in the corridor. None of them has a deadline, and none of them sends a reminder. So the CEO ends up holding everything in their head or a personal notebook, and every so often goes around asking "what happened with that thing we discussed?".
The usual problems look like this:
- a decision is made but not written down, and a week later everyone remembers it differently;
- a task has no single owner, so "everyone" is responsible, which means no one is;
- the deadline is missing or vague: "next week", "as soon as possible";
- a delay is noticed only after it has already hurt a client or cost money.
Follow-up works when every assignment has three things: who does it, by when, and who keeps an eye on it. That is how tasks in DashLab are built.
How it works in DashLab
Assignments with an owner, deadline and watchers
Every task is created with an owner and a deadline. You can add watchers to it, for example a department head or a colleague whose work depends on the result. Watchers see the task and its status without chasing the person doing it.
Meeting minutes
Meeting decisions are recorded in minutes, and assignments with owners and deadlines are set from their items. The minutes stop being a document written for the record and never opened again: they show what has been done and what has not. We covered how to write minutes so that decisions do not get lost in meeting minutes: a template and follow-up.
Overdue work is visible at once
Tasks past their deadline are visible immediately, with no separate report. The manager does not need to ask each person in turn. Opening the list is enough.
A summary for the manager
The manager receives a summary of tasks. An example: on Monday morning the director of a manufacturing company with 80 people sees that out of 34 assignments last week, 27 are done, 5 are in progress and 2 are overdue, both in the same department. The meeting gets specific right away.
Notifications and chat
The platform has team chat with department channels and direct messages, so discussion of a task does not drift off into other messengers. If an employee has linked Telegram, notifications go there too.
Department KPIs and the CRM sit in the same platform next to tasks. It works in the browser and in apps for Windows, macOS, iPhone and Android, so you can set a task from your phone during a meeting.
Word each assignment so the result can be checked. Not "sort out the supplier", but "get the new price list from the supplier by Friday".
Who it is for
Tasks and meeting minutes in DashLab help companies where the CEO hands out many assignments and cannot keep track of follow-through:
- owners and directors of companies with 10 to 300 people who hold regular management meetings;
- manufacturers and distributors where tasks pass through several departments;
- service companies where client work depends on deadlines;
- department heads who want order in their team's assignments.

FAQ
Why is this better than assigning tasks in a Telegram chat?
In a chat, an assignment is buried under new messages within an hour. In DashLab a task has an owner, a deadline and watchers, overdue work is visible at once, and the manager receives a summary. Telegram stays useful as a notification channel for employees who have linked it.
Can a manager follow a task without being its owner?
Yes, that is what watchers are for. They are added to the task and can see its status without asking the owner for updates.
Will employees have to use yet another app?
Tasks, chat, KPIs and the CRM live in one platform, so you are not adding new tools, and some of the old ones become unnecessary. The mobile apps update themselves.
Can we try it first?
New companies get a trial period. Submit a request, and once the platform is open you can move the assignments from your next meeting into it straight away.
